How To Manage Hyperactive Kids

Breaking news suggests that the cause of hyperactivity among kids may be due to food additives . The phenomenon has spiked recently and will continue to do so for some time. There is a lot of controversy over this issue and there have been arguments about the real cause and how to manage hyperactive kids. Some argue that it has nothing to do with the food kids eat while others say that it is a medical condition (ADHD) and some doctors will treat it with a powerful drug , such as Ritalin. Then there is another school of thought which attributes ADHD to bad education, unstable home environments and warn against the use of powerful mind altering drug which can be dangerous. ADHD symptoms include excessive worry, fear, or panic, which can also lead to physical symptoms such as a racing heart, sweating, stomach pains, and diarrhoea. Symptoms of inattention are: often fails to give close attention to details or makes careless mistakes in schoolwork, work, or other activities, often has difficulty sustaining attention in tasks or play activities, often does not seem to listen when spoken to directly ,often does not follow through on instructions and fails to finish schoolwork, chores, or duties in the workplace.
