Five Ways to Stop A Sore Throat

When you have a sore throat, you are going to need lots of liquids - these help to soothe it.

1.Drink plenty of water, soups and yogurts.

2. Gargle (glug! glug!) with water and a teaspoon of salt. It sounds horrible and it is ! Make sure you do it in the privacy of your own bathroom.

3. Green tea is also a good thing to drink. Also Chamomile tea if you like its sort of taste. Good idea to stir in a teaspoon or two of honey and even ginger if you fancy.

4. Try NOT to drink liquids which are too hot or too cold - there is no point in stressing your delicate throat even more !
