Natural Anxiety Remedy

A friend of mine has suffered from a tight throat for many months now. This was how he described the symptoms which were quite frightening. “ I felt my throat tightening and the windpipe closing up and cutting off my air supply and I found it really hard to breathe. I also found my throat quite painful. It was actually like when you feel happy or sad and your throat constricts”. He asked me if I knew of a natural anxiety remedy

He had all the tests done and the doctor told him it was a symptom of anxiety and that he needed to relax and reduce the stress in his life. Not happy with that, he spent a lot of money on visiting a throat specialist. He found there was nothing wrong with his throat and confirmed the family doctor’s diagnosis.

He had other symptoms of an anxiety disorder as well:-

1.Stomach upsets, disturbed digestive system.

2. Dizziness, light- headed feeling.

3. Headaches.

4. Insomnia

5. Lack of energy.

The doctor recommended that he try the following natural remedy for stress and anxiety. As I am a rather anxious person myself, I was very keen to learn about this :-

1. Relaxation technique for the throat – this really works and you can feel better immediately.

2. Physical exercise

3. Massage

4. Breathing exercises –close your eyes- imagine there is no one around and you have no problems ! lol. Long deep breaths really help – this is a great one to help you get to sleep, I found.

I found that the site below is a comprehensive and really effective way to get rid of stress and anxiety.

It incorporates some of the techniques above but also includes some new ones.
